In May 2004, I rented an apartment at 10 Rue Tresor, a pedestrian street in the Marais. I first saw Tresor in January while apartment hunting for May. Although the street was torn up for renovation, I fell in love with the location. It is truely the heart of the Marais. When I returned to take the apartment in May, I was stunned. The renovation was complete. Tresor was transformed into a showcase for the Marais. Tresor is one short block long. The photo shows the entire street. Pedestrian streets are very rare in old Paris. My apartment is just to the left of where the two women are map reading.
